Mint cupcakes at Synie’s
I dedicate this post to one of my readers, fellow mint chocolate lover Sarah, who will be visit Paris late this year. Just days after discussing our favourite types of chocolate (such women!) and me commenting on how hard it is to find our favourite mint & dark chocolate combo here in France, just look what I found! Once again, Synie’s did themselves proud with the most divine, creamy cupcake which very much reminded me of Green & Blacks chocolate. I’m not a big cupcake fan as they usually look better than they taste but as I’ve come to realise with this little company, quality comes first.
My friend had a carrot cake cupcake, which was equally cute though I didn’t try it. You know about me and carrot cake, right? If not, you will this weekend. Stay tuned.

oh my…that looks divine!!! I used to be a big cup cake lover but not so much nowadays. I think they’re over rated to be honest…lol
But mint choco sounds like a yum and light cup cake flavor!!!

Cupcakes are totally overrated and most just taste like sugar. These however are as delicious as they are pretty.

that looks so delicious and G&B is my favourite chocolate
Waiting eagerly for that carrot cake story!
So you have Green & Black over there as well? Lucky woman! I cannot find it in Paris.
WOW!! I am definitely putting this on my list of places to visit! I am a massive cupcake fan-well let’s be honest, I’m a massive fan of anything with the word “cake” in it!! I’m sad you won’t be there to further sample all these goodies with me but I am infinitely grateful to your “research” so I know all these fabulous places to go when I’m in Paris. I’m going to be so fat after my trip but it’ll be sooo worth it!! haha.
P.s. carrot cake has got to be my favourite type of cake that doesn’t have “chocolate” in the title. I look forward to hearing more about your story!
p.s. a whole entry dedicated to me-I’m honoured! (and my belly and tastebuds thank you as well!)
I owe you a carrot cake story! Glad you liked the post. You and your mother must try it out. By the way, I went to Angelina’s at the weekend… Review to follow.

Yes yes to carrot cake story and Angelina review!! We will definitely be finding our way to this place for sure! Especially since it looks close to the Bon Marche!
It’s dangerously close to Le Bon Marché – you cannot visit one without going to the other
I’m with you girl on the cupcake thing. But when you find a good one you’re in trouble! I love a place in Toronto called simply, The Wedding Cake Shop. Everything there is heavenly!

Shall we go there when I visit? Please say yes!

Oh, your photography is improving!
And those cupcakes look wonderful! We MUST go food hunting together one day.
Now please excuse me while I blog about my nail polish hunting adventure
Thank you so much Prof Aggie!! That’s the biggest compliment. I just feel so sorry that I could only eat one.
As soon as I can, I’ll head over to your blog for a dose of all things gorgeous.
I love mint and chocolate too! Here we have a chocolate retailer called Laura Secord and they sell the most divine minted chocolates, with that pale green minted chocolate coating….mmmmmmm. You torture me Milla!!!
This is the only kind of torture you want! Can we please schedule a trip to the supermarket to pick up some of these? Go on, say yes!
Milla, this cupcake looks so delicate and soft. I love frosting that’s not overly sweet and tastes like whipped cream … I haven’t had dinner yet and am starved!

This Week: A Glamorous “Little Black Dress” Halloween Soiree!
When you visit Paris, you must try Synies. Since my sugar detox, I cannot eat anything too sweet so this place is perfect.

GASP!! I LOVE Green & Black’s chocolate…so this cupcake must have been very delicious!
I wanted to have babies with this cupcake!! Yes, it was that good!

*ha ha ha!!!!*
Oh. I know what you mean.
I think it is very hard to find the “perfect” cupcake, much so as I imagine the search for the “perfect” macaron. This one looks delicious and is very pretty. Some of the NY cupcakes are enormous! Puts me right off. You know, I don’t like mint, it’s one of those tastes I never acquired…. but this reminds me of After Eights, a Christmas staple in my family’s house.
You’re not really mentioning After Eights, are you? Don’t make me go to the shop and pay triple for them (I kid you not!). A Christmas stable for my peeps as well. Do you at least like orange in dark chocolate? Say “yes” or this friendship is o-v-e-r!!
