A Parisian Moment à Londres
I am back in London, where my heart belongs, but after such an exciting and emotional weekend, I am not yet ready to say goodbye to Paris. In homage to my former home, I’m here with a café crème and my favourite French magazines – Elle, Madame Figaro and even Vogue Paris, which still leaves a lot to be desired, acquired during my weekend in the La Ville-Lumière.
Having lived abroad for so many years, most of the people I love are scattered around. It makes these trips bittersweet: great to see friends, hard to say goodbye. I suppose that’s one of the downsides that come with travelling around.
wow that bun looks incredibly delicious!!
I understand what you mean but lots of friends around the world also gives you the perfect excuse to travel/visit them!
I like how you think. It’s always such a good excuse to travel; this year Tokyo, Paris and Rome are calling.
I couldn’t agree more. I’ve moved around so friends are scattered around as well. Most of my close friends are in the states too so thats a bummer. But yes, that is what makes the time we spend with friends that much more precious. We realize what blessings we have and cherish moments spent with loved ones.
That cinnamon roll looks yum! Looks like you had a relaxing time in Paris. I miss it dearl as well. By the way, they finally opened a Laduree in Hong Kong in December 2012. It was such a frenzy and a crazy que, lol.
I also want to wish you a belated merry christmas and a happy new year!!! All the best to 2013 Milla dear!!!! =D
Take care!
