Milla’s Paris: Vogue Fashion Night (part 1)

I’m not a big fan of Emmanuelle Alt’s style or her leadership of Vogue Paris, but until I saw her in the flesh last night, I never realised just how beautiful she is. There we were, two girls en route to Ralph Lauren, when who should appear but Madame Alt surrounded by Mademoiselle Agnès, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana and Anja Rubik. Avenue Montaigne never looked so glamorous!!

The photographs don’t do her justice: her skin is flawless, her hair shiny and she looked tanned and relaxed. The woman was standing next to three of the most in-demand models yet, in my opinion, she is the one that stood out most. Beautiful.

Did you go to Fashion Night Out in your city?

Ooooh , so jealous! Paris is wonderful, but when you “run into” scenes like this just becomes… heavenly! :-) very cool about Mme. Alt. Nothing cooler to me than a beautiful women who is at the same time powerful and successful.

    Thanks for the pics pretty!:-)))

Just a regular evening for me Maya. NOT!!

Beautiful, strong and successful. Good on her.

    AAA-MAZING Milla!
Really huh? Some people come off better in person than in photographs and I guess she’s one of them. A natural beauty. Was she uber thin? She claims to be so low maintenance how does she pull that off?!? (I want answers dammit, haha)

I know, right! She was so cool about the photographers and trying to show off the models rather than be a star herself. No, she seemed normal weight but then again, women are slimmer here. I notice that when I go back to London, I consciously acknowledge that women are heavier there. I don’t know… Let’s just say that I didn’t notice her figure/weight so it wasn’t extreme.

Cupcake, I refuse to look at any more magazine images of her because they simply don’t do her justice. Flawless.

Great pictures, just found your blog. And Mme. Alt…. with her appearance, I think she is one of the most stylish women ever.

    Have a great time !!

Thank you Audrey! She looked so amazing, I simply must learn more about her!

  7. 10 September 2011 02:42

    These women are completely gorgeous.

Who knew the EIC was hotter than the models? This gives hope to dozens of women!

  8. 10 September 2011 07:05

Did you take these photos? Those are really good shots!

I need to visit Paris one day! We don’t have much fashion events here in KL, but even if there are they would be restricted only to snobs i.e. “socialites”, “someones” and actresses.

    • 10 September 2011 08:12

I did indeed! More right time, right place than good photography skills so I won’t give up my life to join the paps just yet :)

I don’t know anything about Malaysia’s snobs but whatever happens, please never stop photographing food!

Thanks for the these lovely photos! Felt like I was just across the street..well, almost :) No fashion week around here, but again, nothing compares to Paris!

    • 11 September 2011 09:31

You’re welcome and very right, there is only one Paris!

Have you seen any particular looks during NYFW that appeal to you?

  10. 10 September 2011 19:06

Yes I was there too ! But I did not have pictures of Emmanuelle.

It was amazing how people almost jumped on her to take some pictures… But anyway, it was an crazy event, I loved it ! Do you have more pictures ?

    • 11 September 2011 09:32

It was fun, right? I know that many people complained about the number of people and the queues, but the energy was amazing! Yes, I have a million and one pics!

  11. 11 September 2011 00:44

Milla that’s superb :) And I love your writing – saw more of them recently. you are truly talented girl! Great pics xxx

These photos do remind me a little of the scenes in SoHo, although I think the very well known models were in the Upper East Side…. I did go to FNO in NYC but I got quite tired of the crowds in the end. Perhaps I was so tired after a day of lovely shows and seeing the bloggers who also travelled to NY for it – I found an oasis of calm in Reiss, and spent a lovely time there however, browsing the new season and drinking London Lemonade. Much like my night out would have been if I had still be in London, I think! You can take the girl…

    • 12 September 2011 10:17

I really enjoyed the crowds. Living in Paris, as beautiful as it is, is like living in a village – everything is so calm and slow. I miss the energy of big cities like Tokyo and New York City. It was amazing to see Paris like that.

I want a London night too… Hurry and come over, we can eat salt & vinegar crisps together :-)

  13. 12 September 2011 04:37

Wow, Emmanuelle looks stunning! Even more so than the models.
I did go to FNO in New York and it was a lot of fun! Details are on the blog ;-) Looking forward to reading the rest of your adventures.

    • 12 September 2011 10:04

Doesn’t she just! When I saw here, I was blown away by how flawless she is.

Hopping over to check out your night. I really like the concept.

    Oh… to have those cheekbones!
