Christmas Day French-style!

Now do you understand why I gained about 20 kgs?!  I was too busy eating to photograph the salmon, chicken, seasoned chestnuts but trust me, they were delicious!!  I hope you all had a truly lovely Christmas and have recovered well from your New Year’s celebrations.

Happy New Year you! What did you eat to start 2011? The langoustines and prawns were so, so nice. Oh yes, I could eat them now…

Personally I don’t like oysters. I cannot get passed the texture (but the taste is fine). They look so pretty as well. The cheeses were just so yummy!!

*Struggles to refrain from licking screen*

Why, why, why is it impossible to find desserts this decadent and unapologetically naughty in the UK? That’s it… I’m moving to Paris! ;0)

Hehe! That’s it Sarah, pack those bags! I spent a week in London just prior to Christmas and I realised just how bad the food actually is… The French know how to make an already full stomach rumble – yum!

Insanely good but wait until you see what we had on New Year’s Eve! The French are very similar to the Japanese when it come to food: high-quality ingredients and presentation are so important. I cannot wait to take you on a tour of Paris. We must find time to see the city and not just eat : )
