Moments spent with my friends over cocktails, far too many cakes and smoothies talking about art, politics, history and just how privileged we are to be free to pursue our dreams, and what we must do with those privileges. I went to the ballet to see Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, I
ate inhaled copious bowls of ramen, visited the phenomenal British Museum at least twice a week, booked a trip to Paris for February, researched universities for the following academic year (I want to stay here but maybe an adventure awaits…) and became slightly obsessed with white tea. December, you were wonderful! And what a great way to end the year.
2014: a year of dream-fulfilling, determination, a few tears, yoga therapy and the life-changing realisation that I am in control of my own destiny.
2015: academic success, that elusive sirsasana, new travel experiences and, most importantly, continued happiness.
Have a happy and safe New Year wherever you are!
