The legendary Parisian hotel located just off Avenue des Champs-Élysées welcomed us to La Galerie with open arms, stunning flowers and a très française twist on this British woman’s favourite pastime: afternoon tea, but you’ll just have to read my article in The Arbuturian for more delicious details…

I don’t miss life in France but I tell you, what I wouldn’t give for a little more time at the Four Seasons!

Ada, I loved how they did a French twist and served it with fois gras, compote and a variety of canapés. So unique!

Hi! I am trying to organize my best friend’s bridal shower at an afternoon tea place in Paris. What do you think is the best place? How much is the 4 Seasons?

    • 4 May 2012 / 22:30

      Hello, thanks for your comment.

The Four Seasons is wonderful and definitely one of the top venues in Paris. The thé complet à la française which I had costs just under 60€ (including a glass of champagne). Without champagne, I think it is approximately 45€. For a bridal shower, I would recommend the Shangri-La simply because you have more intimacy in the table settings (and it is in my top 5 hotels in the world). I had my leaving tea party there. You can read about it here. Let me know where you go and what you think; it’s always great to know what other people feel about my favourite places.

Your afternoon at the Four Seasons sounds fabulous! I had drinks there once and I’m dying to go back. Afternoon tea sounds like the perfect excuse for a second trip!

It really was a lovely experience – service, the surroundings, the food and of course, the history. Let me know what you think!

Hello! I’m planning a trip to Paris with some girlfriends soon and was just wondering if the high tea would be enough for 4 people? Thanks 🙂
