Morning Of Deliciousness

Starting my morning with a nutrient-dense bowl of deliciousness – sanguinello, banana, blackberries, strawberries and yummy passion fruit – with a pot of nettle tea and some plain yoghurt, is the perfect way to kick-start the week. There’s nothing like good, fresh food to cleanse the mind and body.  

This is the week to stop procrastinating, make a plan and most importantly, take some time to do the things that make me happy and keep me sane: bake, do pilates and most importantly, just chill. With the stress of turning 30, my husband and I agree; I really need to take a chill pill!

    I feel bad now beacuse I had a chocolate croissant, juice and more chocolate. But I wouls definately like to get my hands on that chill pill.

    hahahah… chill pill! it’ll pass. This looks like a very very lovely brekafast. I might have taken a pic this morning myself as it was great. Porridge, strawberies and esspresso! yaaaammmm! 🙂

      I love porridge! What do you make yours with? I use quinoa flakes mostly and sometimes rice milk, but I much prefer it with full fat cows milk. Yes, pic please!

        Am all oats and soy milk and cinnamon and flax seed and almonds adn honey… this is waking up my appetite. Not cool at this hour. will defo tweet you a pic at some point :-))

    Oh God I so agree Milla! We need to re-focus ourselves all the time. Throw out the baggage and get to what center’s you. Clean eating is on the agenda this week in Canada too!
    30 is wonderful and 40 is better, so chin up!

      Cupcake, what does your family eat for breakfast? Now that the weather is warming up, I’m so happy to see all the fresh berries at the market. I saw some peaches and nectarines too but they weren’t ripe.

      30 is going to be fab – I know that! It’s just getting there…

    What a delicious and restorative breakfast that looks like, Milla! I’ve never had a sanguinello … what does that taste like? You’re always very inspiring in your healthy eating and exercising ways … thanks for the little kick in the pants I needed after this weekend to get back right back to eating healthy before a pound or two shows up on the scale!

      Along with some exercise, this is the perfect way to start the morning. Sanguinello are so yummy: orange-y/grapefruit-y – yum! You should be able to find the juice in a health store, or even a normal supermarket. I think Tropicana do a Sanguinello juice.

      I only started eating breakfast about 4 years ago and this is my favourite type!

      Are they easy to get near you? How did you like Italy? I haven’t been there for years but am looking forward to a long weekend there this summer.

      Positive thinking over a lovely breakfast! I find eating healthily gives me a clear state of mind (and helps me get bikini-ready).

    I would eat this for breakfast any day of the week! Such a pretty picture too. I love breakfast. Usually I have oatmeal with berries, coffee, and eggs, (ok, egg whites–I know how you feel about that! 😉 )
    Milla, the 30s is a wonderful time. Much better than the 20s.

      You’re such a New Yorker! Egg whites is so wrong. There are no more words!

      29 has been a year of growth for me. I’ve always been strong-minded but I lost my fear of saying rejecting other people’s BS. As long as this continues, my 30s are going to be fabulous!

    I’ve said this to you before, but I love that when I wake up in the US, I get to see your morning of deliciousness photos, and they really do set me up for the day 🙂 Ohmigod what is going to happen when we are back in the same time zone eek!!

      Hehe, all tasty goodness! I never liked yoghurt until I moved here – yum! What do you have for breakfast? Muffins? Bagels? I found a Jewish bagel shop last week – cannot wait to try!
